Have you ever loved a book for just one sentence, one character? Do you have a book that you read just to be able to go back to to a certain place? Do you have an author that you love no matter what they write? I'm positive I could read Stephen King's grocery list and be in awe. I do love that man's mind.
What are some of the crazy reasons you have for liking a book?
“What really knocks me out is a book that, when you're all done reading it, you wish the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours and you could call him up on the phone whenever you felt like it. That doesn't happen much, though.”

Sometimes I appreciate a book solely on the fact that it is well written. Other times I like books because they contain gripping stories. And, occasionally, I might not like the writing so much, but I enjoy a well-developed character. I love books that can transport you to some place or some particular feeling.
